Susie is a director of Helm Godfrey Partners Ltd and has many years experience in working with individuals and businesses to find solutions for the many financial issues that are important to her clients. No one client is typical for Susie, with clients that include young City professionals, pop musicians, families and accountants. Her starting point is that seeking financial advice should not be boring and she tries to help make what can be a very ‘dry’ subject a bit more fun. Susie likes to work with clients who are motivated to take control of their finances but may need guidance and help in choosing the right structure and products. Her strength is in making what is often perceived as complex quite straightforward and understandable. Susie is Vice-Chair of Teenage Cancer Trust. The charity focuses on the needs of teenagers and young adults with cancer and related diseases by providing specialist teenage units in NHS hospitals. To date, TCT has built 8 units and is in discussion with an additional 15 trusts. It is anticipated that the concentration of medical expertise within these units can improve chances of recovery by 15%.
