Essential

  • Ability to work accurately and in accordance with procedures
  • General computer literacy
  • Ability to deal with clients and colleagues in a professional and courteous manner at all times
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
  • Attention to detail and the ability to recognise potential problems
  • To maintain discretion at all times
  • Highly numerate
  • Time Management, working to set deadlines

Desirable

  • Previous experience within a financial advisory firm
  • Experience of Swift system

Responsibilities

To provide administrative assistance to the accounts function. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Downloading product provider commission/adviser charge statements and reconciling against remuneration expectations with the Swift system.
  • Updating the Swift system with commission expectations which have not matched through EDI and inputting commission from manual statements.
  • Allocation of remuneration suspense items to Swift back office system.
  • Overseeing aged debtors and chasing for outstanding payments from product providers.
  • Scanning of product provider commission/adviser charge statements to Volume filing system

To develop skills and keep up to date with all relevant legislative, product and technical changes as required for the role
