In these exceptional times I wanted to let you know what we are doing at Helm Godfrey to ensure as far as possible the smooth running of the business. At the same time our priority is the wellbeing of our staff, clients and their families.

 

Firstly, we will immediately be closing our Marlow House office and asking our staff to work from home. Our systems allow everyone to work and communicate as if they are in the office, so there should be no interruption in our communications or business transactions with you. Secondly, we will be asking you to communicate with your adviser and their support team by email, telephone or video conferencing. We believe it is essential to maintain regular contact with you even if these alternatives are not as ideal as a face to face meeting.

 

We may also ask you to confirm your instructions to us electronically rather than by conventional signature. We confirm this is a secure method of signature that is now adopted by many financial institutions. These changes in working practices will therefore not affect the security of the information you have supplied to us or may give us in the future.

 

Our investment and research teams will continue to operate. If you are investing through us, our advice remains that you should stay calm and see out what we all hope will be a temporary and short term period of market volatility.
