The accolade recognises the leading financial planning firms across the country. The award is based on the results of a survey of around 100 private financial planning companies that seeks to identify those with the best standards of advice and quality of client relationship.
Graham Cross, chief executive of Helm Godfrey, said: "Our clients are our first priority and it gives us real pleasure to be recognised for this approach by being named as one of the top 25 financial planning firms in the UK. We are passionate about the holistic financial planning service that we provide and very proud of the long-term relationships we build with our clients as a result of it."
The Wealth Net is published by PAM insight, a leading provider of specialist news, analysis, and comparative data for the world of wealth management.
PAM Insight said: "We wanted to identify not just the biggest advisory firms but also those who offered the best advice and were truly client focused. Everyone, including those who did not make the final list, can truly say they put the client first on the evidence we have seen."
The Wealth Net’s Top 25 Financial Planning Companies 2015 ranking comes as both clients and the wider industry recognised Helm Godfrey’s Michelle Gibbs as a top financial adviser. Gibbs was named among FT publication Financial Adviser’s Top 25 women IFAs for 2015 in October, and made a roundup in the Mail on Sunday of Britain’s top-rated financial advisers in September, having received a high volume of positive client reviews on VouchedFor.co.uk in the past 18 months.
