Two Charities. Two Years

The employees at Helm Godfrey select two charities to support for two years. Whilst these are not the only charities we support, it is where we put a large effort. Helm Godfrey’s chosen charities receive ongoing fundraising support in addition to a 1% split of our gross profits at the end of each financial year.

TCT Logo  Dementia UK Logo

Teenage Cancer Trust is the only UK
charity providing specialist
treatment, care and nursing support
to 13-24 year olds with cancer. Their
support is tailored to young people’s
unique physical and emotional needs
in a way that services for adults or
children simply cannot be.

They have revolutionised cancer care
for young people through our
world-leading specialist hospital
wards and  our award-winning expert
nursing support. Without them,
specialist teenage and young adult
cancer care services could cease to
exist within the NHS.

Cancer kills more young people than
any other disease in the UK. Just
when life should be about fun, friends
and the future, cancer shatters
everything.

But right now, in London and the
South East, their revolutionary services
can only reach half of young people
facing cancer. This is not something
they are willing to accept, with you’re
help they will get closer to reaching
every young person that needs them.

Dementia UK provides specialist
dementia support for families
through our Admiral Nurse
service.

When things get challenging or
difficult, their nurses work
alongside people with
dementia and their families:
giving them the one-to-one
support, expert guidance and
practical solutions they need, and
that can be hard to find elsewhere.

Admiral Nurses are continually
trained, developed and supported
by Dementia UK. Families that
have their support have someone
truly expert and caring by their side
– helping them to live more positively
with dementia in the present, and to
face the challenges  of tomorrow
with more confidence and less fear.
